The Sayre Area Education Association, comprised of educators in the Sayre Area School District has suggested that a strike might be possible due to contract negotiation. The Sayre Area Board of Education has since released a statement saying that they are continuing to meet with the Education Association in the presence of a state mediator. And that while contract negotiations have not been finalized, some agreements have been made.
