Two people were shot at in Ithaca early yesterday morning. At about 1:30 AM, two individuals were traveling down Chestnut Street in Ithaca when an unknown shooter opened fire on their vehicle from the sidewalk. The victims in the car continued driving, but the shooter got into a nearby vehicle and began to pursue them, shooting as they drove. The shooter did not end his or her pursuit until the victims crashed their vehicle. Police are not releasing any information on potential suspects or vehicle descriptions. No injuries were reported.
