The death of an 8-week-old infant from Leroy Township has prompted state police in Towanda to conduct an investigation. The infant was taken to Troy Community Hospital on January 4th. He was later transferred to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where he died on January 8th. Police have not released the cause of death at this time.
