The Sayre School Board is currently looking at three possible candidates to replace outgoing superintendent Dr. Jill Daloisio, who will be leaving the school district on March 31.

According to the Morning Times, school board president Ron Cole did not reveal the names of the candidates, but said they are all local to Bradford County.

Daloisio, who has served as Sayre’s superintendent since 2019, announced her resignation in an email to the school board, faculty and staff last month. She is taking a job as the assistant superintendent at the Twin Valley School District in Elverson, Pennsylvania on April 1.

The Sayre School Board will hold its next meeting in the high school library on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
