The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado did, in fact, touch down in Bradford County on Tuesday night. The storms on Tuesday blew a mobile home off its foundation, destroyed a barn, and knocked down trees and power lines in many areas, with over 1,000 electric customers still without power on Wednesday. A storm survey team confirmed on Wednesday that a tornado occurred in the New Albany area. The tornado was determined to be of EF-1 magnitude, meaning its wind speeds ranged from 86 to 110 miles per hour. The National Weather Service reported that this specific tornado had a maximum wind speed of 100 miles per hour near the Marsh Road area. Power is expected to be restored to all customers in the area by later today or early tomorrow.
