Two individuals have been arrested on weapons and drug charges, following the lockdown of UHS Senior Living at Ideal and West Edwards Street in Endicott yesterday. Authorities have arrested 40-year-old Edward Reed and 50-year-old Mary Chukolowski after receiving reports of shots fired yesterday morning. As authorities responded and secured the scene, UHS Senior Living at Ideal was placed on lockdown for approximately half an hour as a precaution. A portion of West Edwards Street remained closed off to traffic for several hours as authorities continued their investigation.
