A group of Students at Owego Free Academy asked their classmates to put their phones down and keep their eyes on the road. Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) kicked off its Eyes Forward campaign by asking fellow students to sign a pledge promising they won’t text and drive. Dozens of people signed the pledge and hung them on the wall for everyone to see. Students who signed their name were given a green wristband as a reminder of their pledge.
