Four local teens have recently donated a ton of food to CHOW. Actually, they’ve donated 2,641 pounds of food to be exact. The four local teens are all juniors at Union-Endicott High School, and on Saturday, they aimed to crush the world record for largest serving of mashed potatoes. The previous record was made in 2012 by two individuals from France with 2,297 pounds of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes will now be frozen and distributed through CHOW.
