The group of around 40 students from Jennie F. Snapp Middle School are once again national finalists for the Apple and Eve Fruitables Music Mash-Up Contest sponsored in part by the TV show “Glee” and VH1’s “Save the Music” program.
The team that receives the most votes via Facebook will receive $10,000.
You can learn more about this contest, and vote for the U-E Middle Mashers, by visiting www.appleandeve.com. Anyone can vote once a day, every day until April 22 as long as they have a Facebook account.
The Middle Mashers performed their own mash-up in the U-E High School Library, videotaped it and sent it in for the contest. You can see the video on the website.
The U-E students, under the direction of JFS Music Teacher Rochelle Goldberg, won $1,000 last year.
