Vestal Central School District Makes Adjustments to Pupil Attendance Schedule

SHARE NOW

The Vestal Central School District has utilized all six of the emergency closing days scheduled into its 2010-11 school calendar at this time.
As a result, Friday, May 27th, will be a day of pupil attendance for all students.
In addition, students in grades K – 8 should plan on being in class through Friday, June 24th, and grades 9 – 12 would follow the Regents examination schedule as currently shown on the calendar.
If there are emergency closing days used beyond an eighth closing, the adjustments to the calendar would depend on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the total number of days closed and whether the closing occurs before or after the spring recess scheduled for April 11th – 15th.
If such a day occurs before the spring recess, the likely date for an additional day of student instruction would be Friday, April 15th.
Please check the home page of the district’s website at www.vestal.k12.ny.us for updated information on school calendar changes.
