The Waverly School District will ask residents to consider a proposed spending plan of $31.6 million, which calls for a property tax levy increase of 2.99 percent. This year’s plan would keep district facilities free for community use and keep staffing levels the same. Additionally, the district is moving ahead with leasing all buses instead of purchasing them to save money. Five people are running for four school board seats. Voting will be held in the Middle School Lobby from 12-8pm Tuesday. The full budget newsletter is available on the Waverly School District website at waverlyschools.com.
