Windsor School District voters approved a capital project yesterday by a vote of 397-68. The $14.1 million project contains many improvements, including the installation of a multi-use turf field in their stadium, the construction of a music recording studio in the high school and new playgrounds at two elementary schools. The project also includes security and energy efficiency upgrades. It will result in no tax increase to residents, according to the district’s newsletter. Voters also approved the creation of a new capital reserve fund for the district.
