A verdict has been reached in the Alice Trappler case out of Schuyler County. Trappler was accused of being in connection with the shooting death of the father of her child, Daniel Bennett. She was found guilty on all counts. Trappler’s ex-husband, Thomas Borden, was suspected of actually carrying out the shooting, but the jury convicted Trappler for her role in the crime. She was found guilty of second degree murder, burglary in the first and second degree, along with conspiracy.
