Gun shops and private gun traders from throughout the Twin Tiers showed off their weapons Sunday. More than 40 vendors filled the Port Crane Fire Hall for the 10th annual Big Gun Show. Vendors had everything from new and used hunting guns to old historic war guns. Event goers could also bring in their collector items to get them appraised by vendors. Event Chair Nicholas Jubinski says it’s a buy sell trade event, people need permits to purchase handguns, and everything is done just as it is in any other gun shop. Organizers weren’t expecting outstanding attendance due to the economy, but say they were happy with the turnout.
