A Bronx teen was arrested in Norwich for drug possession. 18-year-old Noel Budram was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and $2,400 in cash. Chenango County Sheriff’s deputies and Norwich Police executed a “no knock” search warrant at the Norwich Inn Motel, a warrant which stemmed from an investigation into the sale of crack cocaine in Norwich and the surrounding areas. Bedram is now facing charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and was taken to the Chenango County Jail. The investigation is continuing and more charges are pending at this time. The Drug Enforcement Administration assisted with the investigation.
