A Binghamton University student died in an off-campus accident on Saturday. A statement from the university identified the student as 19-year-old Chris Donnelly of Pearl River. Details of the accident have not been released, but it happened as many BU students were celebrating what they called “New Parade Day.” Students were seen wearing green around the city on Saturday, two weeks after BU was closed during the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The university has made counselors available to speak with students.
