– Nascar wants to make point structure easier to understand and reward winning.
– Kevin Harvick said his truck team had a horrible year, despite 7 wins. Fixes have been made and Ron Hornaday will contend this year.
– Harvick also has changed his phone code to 4848 as a reminder of who he has to beat.
– Yanks manager Joe Girardi texted Harvick after last season that he couldn’t understand the Nascar points structure. Asked why didn’t he (Harvick) win?
– Jeff Gordon said 3 year old daughter grilled him after his tussle with Jeff Burton in Texas. Asked him why he was wrestling.
– David Gilliland and Travis Kvapil will be back with Front Row Motorsports this season.
– With the new pavement, Jamie McMurray thinks Daytona will be a lot like Talladega.
– No races with fuel injection this year says Robin Pemberton.
