Elliott Sadler has won the pole for Saturday’s Aaron’s 312 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Sadler turned a lap of 179.558 mph to lead Friday afternoon qualifying.
Clint Bowyer, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jamie McMurray, and Trevor Bayne followed Sadler.
The weather at Talladega is patchy with severe weather possible this evening, including a potential tornado in the area.
The Nationwide race will be broadcast on WEBO (1330 and 107.9) on Saturday at 2:30PM.
