A Hallstead, Pennsylvania man has turned himself in on charges related to a fatal hit and run in Great Bend Township back in January. Pennsylvania State Police have arrested Roger Radakovich on several charges including homicide by a vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. On January 15th on State Route 11 near the state line, 20-year-old Earl Lyman Youngs of Hallstead was struck by a vehicle, and suffered fatal injuries from the hit and run. Witnesses reported a silver-colored SUV stopped across from Young’s body before it left the scene. State Troopers were given a tip on Radakovich, and observed his silver Jeep Liberty at his home with damage to its right side. Radakovich and the vehicle were taken to the police barracks. The investigation determined that Radakovich struck Young, and continued south before Young’s body was thrown off the vehicle and onto the roadway. At that time, Radakovich allegedly fled the scene.
