A former pastor from Corning has been arrested in connection with thousands of dollars of missing church funds. State Police say 35-year-old Christopher Mathewson stole more than $18,000 while he was the pastor at the First Presbyterian Church from 2007 to 2011. State Police say an audit revealed the funds may have been misappropriated. Mathewson has been charged with grand larceny.
