Guthrie Medical Center has begun a new effort in its campaign to raise money for a proposed new hospital in Corning.
On Wednesday hospital officials announced the start of the public phase of the Building Healthier Communities campaign with a goal of $4 million dollars.
The new hospital will feature a Cancer Center Treatment Facility, with state of the art technology, and the hospital is slated for completion in July of 2014.
