An Ithaca man is accused of trying to do drugs in a vehicle with his two-year-old son in the back seat. Police said a property owner called police, claiming a truck had driven into the corn field across from his home along State Route 26 in the Town of Nanticoke. When police arrived, they found 34-year-old Nicholas Faiella, in the driver’s seat, and witnessed him trying to inject himself with methamphetamine. Police also said Faiella’s two-year-old son was in the back seat. Faiella is now facing multiple drug charges as well as endangering the welfare of a child. He’s being held at the Broome County Correctional Facility. The toddler was given to his mother.
