It took a day longer than expected to find the winner of the Duck Commander 500, but on Monday afternoon it was Joey Logano taking home the checkered flag in the Sprint Cup race. Postponed to Monday due to Sunday’s weather, it was on the last lap of the race that Logano passed Jeff Gordon on his way to victory. Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch, Brian Vickers, and last week’s winner Kyle Larson rounded out the Top 5. On just the 13th lap of Monday’s race, Dale Earnhardt Jr. drove his car into the slippery infield grass, and shot back across the track, slamming into the wall in a fiery crash. Following that early crash, he finished last in the 43-car race, the first time he’s had a last-place finish in seven years.
