Matt Kenseth and Denny Hamlin won the Budweiser Duels last night and will be put in prime position to try to take home the checkered flag in Sunday’s big race, the Daytona 500. Hamlin also won last Saturday’s exhibition Sprint Unlimited race at Daytona, and both Hamlin and Kenseth race for Joe Gibbs Racing. Austin Dillon won the pole and will be first to start off the race, and Martin Truex, Jr. will run second, followed by Kenseth and Hamlin. Last year the Dayonta 500 went to Jimmie Johnson, who will be starting 32nd in Sunday’s race. Coverage for the Daytona 500 begins at noon on Sunday, right here on News Radio WEBO.
