The Little Meadows Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad broke ground on its new fire station and community hall yesterday. The new building will be able to house all of the department’s fire trucks, which the old facility did not have space for. The $875,000 project was made possible through donations from Talisman Energy USA, along with local businesses and private donors. More than $82,000 for the project was covered by private contributions alone.
