Tuesday marked the first day for Medicare enrollment. From now until December 7th, senior citizens can choose from a variety of Medicare plans for their insurance, or opt to keep their existing plan. Some plans have changed from last year, and each choice carries slightly different benefits. Medicare plans are not connected with the new state health care exchanges, including New York State of Health.
