A 69-year-old Montrose man died one day after a drunk driving crash in Susquehanna County, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Albert Hewitt died at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre Wednesday. About 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, state police were called out to North Road in Bridgewater Township for a one-car rollover. Hewitt went off the road. hit a tree, then rolled his car onto its roof. He was found unresponsive at the scene and flown to the hospital where he later died. State police said the man was driving under the influence. The Montrose Fire Department and EMS assisted at the scene.
