Tony Stewart met with the Media today in the annual four days ‘Media Tour’ in Charlotte, NC.
A slimmed down Smoke said he has gone from two meals a day to five meals, obviously much smaller meals.
He also revealed that his only exercise regimen is ‘The left hand controls the volume, and the right hand controls the channel’.
Johnna Long, an impressive 18 year old winner of December’s Snow Ball Derby for short track super late model cars announced she will be driving a Toyota Tundra for the full NASCAR Truck Series.
Martin Truex, Jr, in an interview in USA Today, said he liked that drivers could only run for the championship in trucks, Nationwide, or Sprint Cup, but only in one series.
Truex said each series needs its own identity.
The new points structure is expected to be announced by NASCAR chairman Brian France on Wednesday.
Former NASCAR driver Shane Hmiel continues his amazing recovery after a horrific crash in a U.S. Auto Racing Club Silver Crown race in Indiana. He has now regained the use of his limbs. He was given only a 10% chance of surviving.
Kevin Conway will attempt to make the Daytona 500 field. He will have to make the Daytona 500 on qualifying speed. He has run once at Daytona in July finishing 14th.
NASCAR says that they have not seen any performance changes with the new ethanol fuel blend.
