New York State Police say an Ithaca man they took into custody after a short chase Tuesday is also responsible for robbing a gas station in Dryden last week. 24-year-old Dennis Noonan was taken into custody Tuesday after he crashed his car trying to flee an attempted traffic stop in Lansing. He was found to be impaired by drugs after the pursuit. Further investigation revealed that Noonan was the person wanted for the armed robbery of the Valero gas station on Dryden Road last Friday. Noonan was arraigned on several felony charges and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail.
