This weekend is opening weekend at Watkins Glen International. Anyone can take three paced laps on the 3.4-mile road course for just $25 per vehicle on Saturday and Sunday. Proceeds will benefit local community organizations. Also Saturday, the ARC of Schuyler will sponsor a 3.4-mile run, or one-mile walk on the track. The 2017 race season includes the Sahlen’s Six Hours at the Glen June 29-July 2, NASCAR Aug. 3-6, and the IndyCar Series on Labor Day weekend. Tickets are on sale now online at www.theglen.com.
