The Owego Kiwanis Club handed out five $1,000 scholarships during their annual joint meeting with the Key Clubs of Owego Free Academy and Candor High School yesterday. Candor seniors Vanessa Doane and Hannah Hatton received scholarships honoring Dr. John Baust, while Owego’s Zachary Krassin and Erin Thalacker were honored with the John Scott Memorial Scholarships and Ethan Pryor was selected for the Alan Bishop Memorial Scholarship.
