The parents of the toddler who died after falling out a second-story building two weeks ago were taken to jail Tuesday without bail. But so far, the charges they face aren’t connected to the child’s death. Victoria Young and Jeffery Johnson are being held in the Delaware County Jail, according to New York State Police, who arrested them Tuesday. They’re the biological parents of Andie Johnson, who fell from a second-story apartment on Read Street September 17. An autopsy showed the girl died of cardiopulmonary arrest due to severe head trauma. The manner of death was ruled accidental by the coroner. Johnson was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree. Young was charged with forgery in the second degree. The investigation is expected to continue. Police have not elaborated further as to what the “forged instrument” was.
