CEO’s across Upstate New York, are feeling more confident about revenues and profitability, according to the latest Siena Poll. The bump in confidence comes after a drop in 2012. The increase marks the first time there has been a rise in confidence from the previous year since 2010. According to the report, 28 percent of CEOs plan to increase their workforce in the coming year, which is up from 27 percent a year ago. More than half of the CEOs interviewed cited healthcare costs, government regulation and adverse economic conditions as challenges they’re concerned about.
