The trial taking place in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania for a man accused of a double homicide focused on the testimony of an expert witness on Wednesday. 47-year-old Lloyd Thomas of Hallstead is accused of killing 30-year-old Joshua Rogers and 28-year-old Gilberto Alvarez in February of 2012. The prosecution called upon an independent shooting reconstruction specialist, who said that the two men who were killed had their backs turned to Thomas when the shots were fired. Thomas has admitted to shooting the men but claims it was in self defense.
