The Syracuse Orange lacrosse team picked up its elusive first ACC victory of the season with a win over Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon. The Number 10 Orange defeated the Number 7 Fighting Irish 11-10 at the Carrier Dome, and the first conference win on the year for Syracuse marked the first conference loss on the year for Notre Dame. Junior attackman Kevin Rice scored the winning goal with 2 minutes and 5 seconds left in the game. For the game, Rice had six points and four goals. Next up for the Orange is a Wednesday night matchup with Binghamton.
