Syracuse basketball will look to improve to 13-0 on the season as they take on Eastern Michigan today. Eastern Michigan is coached by former SU assistant coach Rob Murphy. Murphy spent seven years as an assistant on Coach Boeheim’s staff, but is now in his third season leading the Eagles. Eastern Michigan is in the middle of arguably its toughest stretch on the schedule, having just suffered a heavy loss at the hands of Duke on Saturday, 82 to 59. EMU has also faced off with Kentucky this year, and despite the demanding schedule, the Eagles sit at 7-4 on the year. Today’s game will mark the final non-conference game for the Orange, and their last chance this season to extend their non-conference home game winning streak, which currently sits at an impressive 50 games. Syracuse remains one of eight unbeaten teams in Division I. Coverage for today’s game against the Eagles starts at 2:30 right here on News Radio WEBO.
