The human skeletal remains found in Tompkins County have been identified. They were found in Taughannock State Park. State Police are reporting that the remains are those of Brian Austin of Syracuse. Austin had been reported missing from the Syracuse area since 2011. The cause and manner of death are pending. The investigation is continuing.
