A program that services people with special needs in the Southern Tier needs help. The Borrowed Freedom Equine Therapy Program held a barbecue fundraiser Sunday to raise money for its upcoming season. The program offers riding lessons and other therapeutic activities for people with special needs. Each year they service about 120 children and adults. The program’s founder says Mother’s Day was the perfect day to raise money and say thank you. The new season begins in June.
