Two Binghamton residents have been arrested on multiple counts of robbery. 34-year-old John Pierce, and 24-year-old Melinda Patak were arrested for robbing two deliverymen on separate occasions. The first robbery occurred on October 1st when the two individuals allegedly placed an order at the New Panda Chinese Restaurant on Robinson Street. Upon the deliveryman’s arrival Pierce is said to have used a knife to threaten the deliverer into giving him his cell phone and cash. Pierce and Patak are said to have performed the same robbery on another deliveryman from the LongFeng Chinese Restaurant on Glenwood Avenue on October 16th. Both suspects have been arraigned and sent to the Broome County Jail.
