Two Cornell University professors are among twenty-four people who will receive genius grants awarded to individuals with extraordinary originality and dedication in their fields. 40-year-old Craig Fennie of Ithaca is a materials scientist at Cornell and Sheila Nirenberg, of New York City, is a neuroscientist at Cornell’s medical college. Recipients are granted $625,000 over the next five years.
