A man wanted by police on drug-related charges tried to evade police, but instead crashed his bicycle into a police car. Cortland County Sheriff’s spotted 46-year-old Miles Parrotta of Cortland riding his bike on the sidewalk, and when a deputy tried to stop him, he fled the scene across four lanes of traffic. His attempt to evade police was cut short when he crashed into the back of a parked police car. Parrotta was charged with unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, failure to comply with police, and improper operation of a bicycle. He’s being held in county jail without bail.
