A woman was killed in a car crash in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning. Around 8 o’clock Wednesday, 46-year-old Cindy Westbrook of Susquehanna was driving northbound on Route 171 when she drove her SUV off the left side of the road and hit an embankment, before the vehicle rolled onto the driver’s side. The roof of the SUV struck a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A 1-year-old passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The child was in a safety seat and Westbrook was traveling at a safe speed, but police say the road was wet and icy.
