The Owego football team passed their way to victory on Friday night in Windsor.
As heard live on WEBO, the Indians received three touchdown passes from Logan Neira and a fourth from Patrick Bilbrey as they ruined Windsor’s homecoming by beating the Black Knights 33-28. Neira was an efficient 8-10 for 123 yards on the night while Bilbrey threw his touchdown on the first drive of the game, a 56 yard catch and run to Robert Shank.
Owego is in a three-way tie for third place in the division with games left in Norwich and home against Waverly. The Wolverines also won on Friday, taking down Greene 28-14. Peyton Miller tallied three touchdowns for Waverly as they rebounded from their first loss of the season.
Elsewhere around Section 4: Vestal broke a 10-game losing streak to Union-Endicott, Tioga blew out Sidney, and Newark Valley fell to Chenango Forks for their first loss of the season.

The Syracuse Orange fell behind 24-3 early in the second half, but battled back to within 7 points before losing to the University of South Florida 45-24 Saturday. As heard on WEBO, quarterback Eric Dungey threw for two scores and added another one on the ground in his return from a head injury.
