All-state football teams for New York’s Classes AA and A were released yesterday and they include a trio of Section 4 players named second-team selections. Union-Endicott defensive lineman Josh Greenwood was selected for Class A, while Binghamton’s Devin Young and Elmira’s Dan Fedor were honored in Class AA. The all-state teams for Classes B, C, and D were named last week.
The Buffalo Bills have a new head coach. Sean McDermott was named the new coach of the Bills yesterday. He had been the defensive coordinator at Carolina for the past five seasons after starting his coaching career with the Philadelphia Eagles.
