The Binghamton Mets home opener was spoiled by New Hampshire 3 -2 Thursday evening.
The Fisher Cats scored two runs in the ninth inning on a double by John Tolisano, giving New Hampshire the lead for the first time in the game.
B-Mets starter Mark Cohoon allowed only one unearned run in seven innings.
Reliever Ricky Brooks took the loss.
B-Mets first baseman Michael Fisher went 3 for 4 with two doubles. He is now batting .444.
The B-Mets play the Fisher Cats again on Friday evening at 7:05.
