The Binghamton Senators will officially begin their season Saturday at home, and members of the team met with local media today. Forward Zack Stortini returns to Binghamton this year.
“It’s an exciting time to be back here in Binghamton,” he said. “All the guys are looking forward to starting the year in front of our great fans.”
After two preseason games, the Sens will begin the regular season at home Saturday against Hershey. Coach Kurt Kleinendorst says the team will play fast and with intensity this season. This is the last year of the affiliation agreement between Ottawa and Binghamton.
