The Binghamton Mets hit the season off yesterday with a 1-0 win over the Akron Aeros. Lorenzo Scott scored the game’s only run in the 3rd inning on a wild pitch. Mets pitcher Josh Stinson went 5 innings, giving up only 2 hits and walking a batter and holding MLB All Star Grady Sizemore hitless who is on rehab assignment with Akron, to pick up the win. The Mets will be in Akron again tonight at 7:05.
