Carl Edwards Wins Nascar Race in Las Vegas

Tony Stewart had the fastest car, but Carl Edwards won the Sprint Cup race in Las Vegas on Sunday.
After a penalty for dragging an air wrench from his pit box, Stewart restarted 24th on Lap 157
A two tire stop gave him a late lead.
One the last stop, Stewart needed four tires and Edwards only two. That was the race.
An emotional Stewart said, we gave that one away after the race.
Stewart does top the season standings though.
JP Montoya was third with Australian Marcos Ambrose fourth.
There were no major incidents, though Kyle Busch had an engine blow up and start a small fire.
Last weeks winner, Jeff Gordon blew a tire and hit the wall. He was done for the day.
Dale earnhardt, Jr ran well all day and finished eighth.
