Chris Thater Memorial Race Cancelled After Thirty-Three Years

The Chris Thater Memorial bicycle race has been cancelled after 33 years. Organizer, Chris Marion, said the event was cancelled due to a lack of funding. The event honors Binghamton University graduate, Chris Thater, who was killed by a drunk driver in 1983.
