Today is the first day of fall sports practices across New York. That includes at Owego Free Academy, where the football team will hold their first practice this morning. Once again, we will broadcast all of their games live on WEBO this season. The Indians open the year at home against Newark Valley on Friday, Sept. 2. Also at OFA, the defending volleyball state champions will hit the court for their first practice of the season. Besides football and volleyball, practices also begin today for boys and girls soccer, field hockey, girls swimming and diving, cross country, girls tennis, and golf at high schools across the region.
